Chad Brady

Vocal Instructor, MTAC

Hi! I’m a native of South Florida where I studied music from an early age. I was fortunate to be able to perform at Carnegie Hall and travel to Europe for an international music competition while in high school. I went on to graduate from The Florida State University where I received my BA in Voice Performance. My time there included performing in multiple operas and choral ensembles while taking private voice lessons and courses to become a vocal pedagogue.

I began my professional career teaching musical theatre and chorus at Harrison School for the Arts in Lakeland, FL. I had a blast musically directing shows like Songs for a New World, South Pacific, Carousel, Singin’ in the Rain, and The Pirates of Penzance. I also had the privilege of serving as a master class technician for the Florida Music Education Association as well as guest conducting for various other music programs in South and Central Florida. As a performer, I have enjoyed singing in countless concerts, weddings and local theatres, including the Pied Pipers Players where I sang the role of Andre in Ain’t Misbehavin’.

My wife and I moved to California late 2018 and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Open Lid team!
